A New World Is At Hand ?
Looking forward to a trip to DC I was just investigating The National Archives on line.
A trip to the Archives would HAVE to include a visit to the Rotunda. To lay eyes on our dearest documents, The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution and The Bill of rights, would in of itself mean so very much to me. And as I was reading and thinking about how profound this experience might be, I noticed on the right of the page, a paragraph describing a new exhibit.
This is what it says:
DID YOU KNOW?
Flanking the permanent display of the Charters is the exibit, "A New World Is at Hand," a selection of milestone documents from the National Archives' holdings that chronicle the creation of the Charters and their impact over the course of history in the United States and around the world.
Is it just me or did they really conveniently leave out the word ORDER from that phrase?
